Francesco Stile, Neapolitan, born in 1965, comes from a painter’s family.
His mother and grandfather were some Neapolitan amateur view-painters. He grew studying and copying the past art in the atelier of the portrait-painter Carlo Roberto La Volpe, till the end of the nineties. Then he opened a studio to devote himself to the painter’s imitations, preferring the 1600’s Caravaggio’s school. In January 1997 he noticed on the review ART, the hyperrealistic works of the painter contemporary. It’s the beginning of a new artistic trend, that he expresses up to present through photo-realistic still lifes, carried out by oil on canvas. His way shows a continual and continuous research activity, that he expresses through the real also with everyday life’s fragments. simple site builder
